Alexander Edwards has served as President of Strategic Vision, Inc. since 2010, collaborating with its founding partners and board of directors to ensure world-class consultative practices and growth. Alexander is recognized as a leading industry expert in automotive research, frequently quoted in media ranging from USA Today to Automotive News and the Associated Press, and as a guest speaker at numerous conferences such as IHS Global Insights, thinkLA and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Alexander has been a key developer in the tools used to measure decision-making, human behavior, attitudes and perceptions. He collaborated with company founder Dr. Darrel Edwards on the development of the New Vehicle Experience Study (NVES) and Delight And Opportunity (DAO), a groundbreaking computational model used to represent and maximize product and content analysis related to user experience. He has been an integral part of Strategic Vision's growth into a worldwide consultancy with clients ranging from Coca-Cola to national and international governments.
Alexander is an expert in motivation and decision making, research and communications; in customer satisfaction, retention, loyalty, commitment and decision making; and research design, data structure, analysis and inference. He has applied his training in many fields: the automotive industry, accounting, air travel, banking, consulting and management, education, entertainment, food and beverages, health and beauty, investments, law, leadership, medicine, personnel management, politics, restaurants, recreation, and telecommunications.
