Strategic Vision has surveyed owners of new cars and light trucks through the New Vehicle Experience Study (NVES) since 1995, capturing a comprehensive understanding of the complete ownership experience and developing key measurements of that experience, such as Total Quality and Total Value.

Strategic Vision publishes the results of their Total Quality Awards® and Total Value Awards® here for the benefit of both the automotive manufacturers and their potential customers.

The Total Quality Award® is presented to those with the highest ratings in their class along the Total Quality Index® (TQI), which measures the overall ownership experience. Total Quality is a unique and comprehensive measure of the total ownership experience.

The Total Value Award® is based on the Total Value Index® (TVI) which begins with TQI and then factors in various economic considerations of the ownership experience.

The title of Most Delightful Vehicle has also been awarded to those vehicles in each segment which go beyond satisfaction, providing the most delightful overall experience.

The Most Loved Vehicle is an award that represents the next step in quantifying the consumer's overall emotional response to their vehicle. The Customer Love Index (CLI) is used to measure Love, the “holy grail” of the customer experience. Love is a leading indicator of product/service loyalty and advocacy that provides manufacturers and service providers the opportunity to improve upon the products and services they offer to the consumer.
